Otolaryngology

What is Otolaryngology?

Otolaryngology (oh/toe/lair/in/goll/oh/jee) is the oldest medical specialty in the United States. Otolaryngologists are physicans trained in the medical and surgical management and treatment of patients with diseases and disorderes of the ear, nose, throat (ENT), and related structures of the head and neck. They are commonly referred to as ENT physicians.

Mark Sehgal, MD, earned his medical degree from Wayne State University in 1994. He completed his otolaryngology residency at Indiana University Medical Center and then went on to complete a general surgery residency at Indiana University Medical Center as well. Dr. Sehgal is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
