What is a
Family Practice Physician?
Family practice
is the medical specialty which provides continuing and comprehensive healthcare
for the individual and family. The scope of family practice encompasses
all ages (children to adults), both sexes, each organ system and every
disease entity.
A Saturday
morning clinic is available to family practice patients from 9:00 a.m.
to 11:00 a.m. The clinic is for urgent care needs and no appointment is
necessary.
John
B. Cotton, M.D., earned his medical degree at the University of
Arkansas Medical School in 1967. He completed his internship at St. Vincent
Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas, and is certified by the American Board
of Family Practice.
Karen L. Curtis, M.D.,
earned her medical degree at Wayne State University in 1995. She
completed her residency at The Medical Center in Beaver, Pennsylvania.
She is certified by the American Board of Family Practice.
William
E. Gupton, M.D., earned his medical degree at the University of
Tennessee in 1975. He completed his residency in Spartenburg, South Carolina,
and is certified by the American Board of Family Practice.
Kim
L. Kurvink, M.D., earned his medical degree at the University
of South Dakota in 1977. He completed his residency at the University
of Oklahoma and in Wichita Falls, Texas. He is certified by the American
Board of Family Practice.
Larry
D. Lewis, M.D., earned his medical degree at the University of
Oklahoma in 1980. He completed his residency in Wichita, Kansas, and is
certified by the American Board of Family Practice.
