Audiology
What is an
Audiologist?
An audiologist
is a university-trained professional licensed to identify, evaluate, diagnose
and treat hearing disorders. An audiologist may help determine if rehabilitation
of a hearing disorder is possible through the design, selection and fitting
of a hearing aid or if medical/surgical treatment is indicated for the
disorder.
